Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem Eryılmaz is a faculty member in the Department of Software Engineering at Ostim Technical University and the Coordinator of the Project Development and Management Office (Application and Research Center). She received her B.Sc. in Statistics from Middle East Technical University, her M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Atılım University, and her Ph.D. in Computer Education and Instructional Technology from Ankara University.

Throughout her academic career, she has served as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at Atılım University and as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Software Engineering at TED University. Internationally, she has held visiting scholar positions at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Lodz in Poland, the Department of Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, and the School of Education at Johannes Kepler University Linz in Austria.

She teaches and conducts research in the areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP), data mining, database management systems, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, machine learning, educational innovation, and digital transformation. She is the founder of InVictaAcademy, a founding member of the Academic Informatics Foundation, and a Executive Board Member of the Informatics Association of Turkiye (TBD). In November 2022, she was elected in Brussels to the Board of Directors of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS), representing Turkiye.
