He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering and M.S. in Mathematics at Penn State University, USA and his undergraduate studies in Mathematics at Middle East Technical University. His research interests lie in the areas of scientific computing, numerical linear algebra and numerical computation, ranging from theory to design to implementation, with a focus on improving software quality. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of computer science, particularly image processing, deep learning and medical and educational data mining. His research focuses on statistics, data science, system simulation and modeling, data mining, decision theory.
